SATTE 2014 to be held from Jan 29-31 in Delhi

South Asia’s most leading Travel and Tourism Event (SATTE) will be held from January 29 to 31 at Pragati maidan in new Delhi, India, and from February 3 to 4 at the Nehru centre, Mimbai. At New Delhi, SATTE will be spread over an area of 17,500 square meters gross. This year, SATTE will focus on bringing a sizeable numbers of buyers Indian and across the earth to offer great business chances. Sajid Desai, Group Director, SATTE and publisher – Travel Trends Today, UBM India Pvt. LTD said that over the years, SATEE has become the most significant exhibition for the Indian tourism industry. Indian government officially decided to extend its support to SATTE 014 and for the first time has allowed SATTE to use the incredible India logo, he informed.
The major object of SATTE 2014 is to establish India as one of the most south-sfter tourism targets on the planet tourism map. To achieve this aim, SATTE is working towards offering a world-class networking platform to Indian and global tourism trade industry. We are determined to enhance SATT’s stature as global tourism show and want local partners to strengthen ties with the global tourism, added Desai.
Further, this year the enhanced buyer program at SATTE offers an incentivized per-Scheduled Appointments system that allows buyers to schedule appointments, ensuring chances for international and regional senior –level buyers to source new destinations, travel products and services. The stature of SATTE India conference has also been enhanced and they are expecting into be much better in terms of form content.
The national Tourism offices (NTOs) of Abu Dhabi, Bangadesh, Argentina, Brand USA, Dubai, Bhutan, Kenya, Zambia, Indonesia, New Zealand, Nepal, Spain, Oman, Taiwan, Ethiopia, Thailand, Maldives, Turkey will attend SATTE as exhibitors.
Like previous year, this year too SATTE will be support by international organizations and governing bodies such as united national World Tourism organization (UNWTO) and International Council of Tourism partners (ICTP) and Indian trade associations such as TAAI, TATO, ADTOL, ATTOL, and IAAI.
Desai stated that SATTE 2013 had witnessed participation of 590 exhibitors from 35 nations and 23 Indian states, who met, engaged and interacted with buyers and attendees from over 43 nations and 74 cities of India. With 7,419 unique qualified buyers and sellers, excluding repeat buyers and unregistered walks-ins from all over India and aboard, SATTE 2013 received 9,764 appointments requests from visitors and exhibitors.
It witnessed over 18 per cent increase in visitor’s attendance over 2012. “Our goal is aligned with the industry’s goal. We are thankful to have support of the entire industry. We will carry on to work towards making India’s tourism industry stringer.” Desai added.
