Prepaid Taxis start service

The airport passengers transport service management limited has brought into service 200 luxurious ‘prepaid’ taxis from yesterday.
Passenger can use the taxi service to dissimilar places of Kathmandu valley, surrounding districks and other areas of Nepal from International and domestic terminals of Tribhuwan International airport Kathmandu.
The rate of these taxis has been fixed at 75 rupees for each kilometer. Two hundred taxis of Ford and Maruti brands have been put in to use in the early phase. Around Rs 600 million have been spent to bing prepaid taxis into operation. The company targets to bring 100 more taxis into service in the second phase the new taxis now replace the ones with green number plates that were in operation.
