Gaj Bahadur Wons the Elephant Competition

Like last year bahadur gaj has won the title of the International elephant race Competition which was held in sauraha of Chitwan Monday.
Ekatakali of Highway Star finished second while Champakali of fewa tours and Travels secured third position in the competition.
Winner Bahadur Gaj clinched the title by defeating five others competitor elephants in the race.
Gaj completed the distance of 300 meters in 1 minute 5 seconds.
Ekatakali and Champakali completed the distance in 1 minute 19 seconds and 1 minute 20 seconds, respectively.
A total of six elephants including a foreigner, among 20 candidates, were selected for the final.
Likewise, lions Club International stood first in the football competition of calves (Baby elephants)
Lions defeated last year’s winner Kist bank by 201 goals.
Laxman Gaj of Lions scored both the goals while Kist’s SImsimkali scored a consolation goal from the team. The competition was organized by the regional Hotel Association, Sauraha, from December 26.
